Order fulfillment process
Let’s explore how order fulfillment works at Manifest.eco, using an order placed through Faire.com as our example.
1) This is the Faire.com’s order page. We will use this information to process the orders in the Manifest system.
2) Login to Manifest.eco
3) To verify stock availability, you will need to follow the steps outlined below
- Click on WMS which is shown at the top of the right side.
- Click on the Reports option
- Click on the Inventory Reports option
- Then click on the Listing Inventory Reports option
4) Upon clicking “Listing Inventory Reports,” a new dialog box will appear. Within this interface, you’ll find search options where you can input either the SKU or product name.
5) It will then provide comprehensive information regarding the stock status of the desired product.
Once confirming the available stock, we proceed to accept the order in Faire. We then verify the shipping date and input it into the “Schedule Ship Date” option.
6) Shipment Order
For the process order in Manifest just follow the instructions provided below.
- Click on WMS which is shown at the top of the right side.
- Click on the “ Order Management” option
- Click on the “Shipment Order” option
- Customer order #: In this section, we need to include the Faire order number provided on the Faire order page.
- Order Type: Select the Sales Order from the dropdown.
- Customer: In this section, we input “Faire” as the customer name and add the customer’s name in the address section.
- Store: Select the correct Store name from the dropdown.
- Earliest Ship Date: In this section, we include the order received date, as displayed on the Faire order page.
- Latest Ship Date: Scheduled three days following the earliest shipping date OR the number of days as per your need.
- Date Ordered: Include the current date
- Carrier: Select “Customer Pickup” from the dropdown menu.
- Shipping Notes: Add the any note as per your need
7) Shipment Order Details
Once you’ve completed the shipment order form, proceed to finalize the “Shipment order form.” In the shipment order form, there will be displayed the various options i.e. “Item”, “Pack Type”, “Ordered Pack Quantity” etc. We accomplish this task, by simply adhering to the instructions outlined below.
- Item: To include the item name, simply enter the product name or SKU, and the item list will appear. From there, we’ll choose the specific item being processed in the Manifest and click “OK”.
- Package Type: In this section, we will add the “Unit” option from the drawdown.
- Order Pack quantity: In this section, we’ll include the quantity of the item provided on the Faire portal.
- Click the save button displayed at the top of the bar.
8) How to upload the packing slip and label to the “Shipment Order” form?
Once the shipment order form is filled out, we’ll attach the packing slip and label to the shipment form which is downloaded from the Retailer site. To upload these documents, simply follow the instructions outlined below.
- Click on the action button
- Please choose the upload option, then select the packing slip and label for uploading.
- Click the “OK” button to complete the Order Fulfilment process.
